MMA Are You Shitting Me News!

Kimbo Slice is bragging on the Internet that he walks around with a gun on his person at all times. The statement came when Justin Wren, a member of this season's TUF cast, related a story told to him by Kimbo Slice, wherein Mr. Ferguson at an American Top Team practice (where he is currently training for his UFC PPV debut in December), was armbarred and got angry enough to return with a gun. Kevin has denied the story saying he carries his gun at all times and would not have to go anywhere to get it. Obviously, Kimmy is stating that he rolls, spars, and poops while wearing his gat which is super cool.

DMX, yes that crappy rapper/bad actor is going to make his MMA debut against Eric Martinez at "Alabama Pride" December 12th. To make the event even more legitimate and compelling, Tank Abbott will fight Jiu-Jitsu expert Butterbean in the greatest Main Event of all time! The south shall rise again!

Hershel freaking 47 year old retired NFL player Walker, has actually signed a deal to fight for Strikeforce in his MMA debut. Yes the world is ending. Number #34 also stated he believes he could beat any of the Heavyweights on Dana's White's current season of the Ultimate Fighter. Walker is currently training at AKA with "Crazy" Bob Cook and hopes to fight at Light Heavyweight to show the world his is a "martial artist."

We already know Randy Couture is set to face Brandon Vera at UFC 105, but Randy's ex-wife Kim Couture (yes, she's keeping his last name) has signed to fight Kerry Vera, the "Truth's" wife at Strikeforce in November. I think it should be a mixed-tag team match instead.

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson continues to prove he isn't scared of Rashad Evans by intelligently saying, “[Rashad] is probably happy as hell that I took this movie instead of whoopin’ his ass and he’s trying to play it up like he’s not. That’s all he is, he’s all talk. I did a show with the guy for six weeks, I know what he is. He’s all talk, it’s all show. If there wasn’t cameras or stuff around or nobody to grab his ass he wouldn’t do half the things that he did. Now he’s talking all hard, like he’s gonna hit me in the face? All he’s doing is really pissing me off more and more. I will go to Rashad’s house, knock on his door, drag his ugly ass out into the yard, let him play with his nipples first and knock him the f*** out. Like Rashad says, we’ll do the fight for free. I want him to put his money where his mouth is so I can knock his teeth out and give him some change, the boy needs a change, his mouth is too big but he ain’t nothing. The boy ain’t fought the people I’ve fought, he ain’t got the experience I’ve got. He’s barking up the wrong tree so he’s gonna get pissed on for real.” Then someone yelled, "Look, its Lyoto Machida!" Rampage promptly pissed himself for real and sped away in his monster truck.

UFC 103 Or The Night All That Is Good Died

Rafael dos Anjos Robert gets the decision over Rob Emerson.
Vladimir Matyushenko gets the decision over Igor Pokrajac.
Eliot Marshall steals a BS decision over Jason Brilz.
Ricky Story secures a beautiful Arm-Triangle Choke to tap
Brian Foster.
Nik Lentz gets the
Upset decision over Rafaello Oliveira.
Jim Miller takes out
Steve Lopez via TKO (Shoulder Injury) in a one sided affair. Steve literally pulled his own shoulder out of socket while throwing a punch.
Tomasz Drwal tapped an awful looking Drew McFedries with the RNC.
Efrain Escudero destroyed Cole Miller with a shocking KO win by stepping on a ladder to reach the overrated (fellow) TUF alumni.
Tyson Griffin gets the nice KO on the usually durable Hermes Franca.
Josh Koscheck got back on track by starching the old Frank Trigg who thought he could box now, and complained about the stoppage when he was taking heavy punches in his unguarded face with his hands down. "Kos" calls out Mr.
Matt Hughes for a fight and "Twinkle Toes" will be 2 and done for the UFC.
Paul Daley knocked out Martin Kampmann who was still standing but out on his feet. The "Hitman" didn't agree with this referee stoppage either, but he was also incorrect like Trigg. He was hurt and his eyes were gone whether he hit the floor or not. Nice
Upset for the loud mouth who won't shut up for a year about this one.
Junior dos Santos looked really solid as he landed body shots and punches at will against a visibly aged Mirko Filipovic. Cro Cop had nothing for "Cigano" and never landed a good solid strike in the contest. It may be time to retire for the Croation while Santos puts himself right in the Heavyweight title mix.
Vitor Belfort grazed the head of
Rich Franklin and it dropped "Ace" to his knees. From there the speed and the power took over as the "Phenom" landed pinpoint strikes and Franklin never responded.

Nice work by Spike TV leaving the opening of the McFedries/Drwal to repeat the 1st 6 seconds of the fight for a full minute before fixing the problem. Then, the sound was in English and Portuguese at the same time for the start of the Story/Foster fight. That will show boxing that MMA is just as professional and well produced. Still, we got 4 free fights instead of the announced 2 so that was a nice bonus. I feel like crying as the heroes of my past fall before my watery eyes. There is nothing good in the world anymore. 7-6 on the picks.

UFC 103 Frankin vs Belfort: The Genius Fight Picks

PPV
Catchweight (195 lb) bout: Rich Franklin vs. Vitor Belfort The "Phenom" is back and promptly misses making a catchweight for the main fight. Genius. Still the fight will go on and though Vitor seems to have that name the just makes people froth and think he is a world beater, what has he really done? He has won 4 in a row after the loss to
Dan Henderson in Pride FC back in 2006. Then dropping to 185, he defeats 2 so so eh fighters and KO'd Terry Martin who has lost 3 bouts in a row and has been KO'd a mere 6 times in his career! Then Belfort takes out an 80 year old Matt Lindland who is also known for a questionable chin and did I mention is 94 years old? Meanwhile, "Ace" has fought and beaten David Loiseau, Jason MacDonald, Yushin Okami, Travis Lutter, Matt Hamill, and Wanderlei Silva in the same time frame while only losing to Anderson Silva and a questionable Split-Decision loss to Dan Henderson. Rich is in better shape with better cardio and submissions though I agree he lacks the punching power of Belfort. There are many ways for Rich to win this fight and only 1 chance for Vitor. I'm just not sold on the guy like everyone else and expect Franklin to survive a storm at some point, and outthink the always mind fucked "Phenom" en route to victory.
WINNER-Rich Franklin by decision
Heavyweight bout: Mirko Filipović vs. Junior dos Santos We all know Cro Cop isn't the fighter he once was, but surgeries aside he is striving to be relevant again in the Heavyweight division. Jr. trains with
Team Nogueira and has never gone to decision in his 8-1 career. Mirko has only been KO'd twice in 33 bouts! The problem to me, is that if Mirko can still hang on the feet with "Cigano," he will be tapped on the ground. Santos is actually larger as well and to be honest, there is little reason to pick Cro Cop in this fight save the little voice in my head that says "he was one of the original guys you loved." Still, knowing I/we need a miracle, I refuse to pick against ATJ Lucko and will pick the Upset Winner. *UPDATE* Picking against Cro Cop doesn't mean I don't like the guy. Time to be rational.
WINNER-Jr. Santos by decision
Welterweight bout: Martin Kampmann vs. Paul Daley "Semtex" is here! Who cares? Paul is far smaller than the "Hitman" not to mention he is an average fighter with an extra large mouth. The "journeyman" "gatekeeper" fails in his UFC debut against the soon to be #1 contender to
GSP and the Welterweight title.
WINNER-Kampmann by sub Rd.2
Welterweight bout: Josh Koscheck vs. Frank Trigg These guys are very similar except for the fact "Kos" is a better wrestler, striker, younger, and faster than "Twinkle Toes." This is a bad matchup for Trigg who makes his return to the UFC only to get stomped by a younger version of himself.
WINNER-Koscheck by TKO Rd.3
Catchweight (159 lb) bout: Tyson Griffin vs. Hermes Franca Hermes always dyes his hair but it is crazy purple out of control this time. Check it out:) Unfortunately for the good guy, Franca hasn't enough game to top the little wrestler that could, in Tyson Griffin. Neither guy likes to finish a fight so expect a decently exciting decision with Griffin slowly pulling away with superior cardio.
WINNER-Tyson by decision
Prelims
Lightweight bout: Efrain Escudero vs. Cole Miller
*This fight will be shown for free on Spike TV so tune in!* Sure you only missed weight by 1 pound, but its still embarrassing Mr.TUF winner nobody cares about. Cole Miller is about 5 feet taller than Efrain, but he that can be a disadvantage when the little guy is wrestling based, and looking solely to take you down. Luckily, once to the floor whether by getting taken down, or by scoring a drop on his own, Cole has the Jiu-Jitsu and better game at this stage to get the job done.
UPSET PICK WINNER-Cole Miller by decision
Middleweight bout: Drew McFedries vs. Tomasz Drwal
*This fight will be shown for free on Spike TV so tune in!* This fight will be over quickly so don't blink. Both men throw to kill and 1 guy is going down. If by some miracle this fight goes past the 1st, Drwal will have more gas and impose his game against the 1-dimensional McFedries. Tomasz was a beast at 205, so at 185 I see him being even better. It'll be exciting but the odds go in Polands favor.
WINNER-Tomasz Drwal by Rd.1 TKO
Lightweight bout: Jim Miller vs. Steve Lopez Stephen has a lot of size on the younger Miller brother but don't expect it to do him much good. Jim has many more skills and experience which leads him to the win.
WINNER-Jim Miller by TKO Rd.2
Lightweight bout: Rafaello Oliveira vs. Nik Lentz "
J-Lau" gets hurt and an unready fighter gets the call to the big leagues. Good luck Nik.
WINNER-Oliveira by Rd.1 Submission
Welterweight bout: Rick Story vs. Brian Foster This counts as an "Upset Pick" because nobody knows who Mr. Foster is. I do. He's a
HITSquad member (Matt Hughes team) who can really throw down and will surprise "Horror" Story and his stupid nickname.
UPSET PICK WINNER-Brian Fosters by decision
Light Heavyweight bout: Eliot Marshall vs. Jason Brilz The "TUF" kid is going to be in trouble here. For as much as he has improved, Eliot isn't nearly as tough or well rounded as the 17-1 Brilz. He may get stopped but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
WINNER-Brilz by decision
Light Heavyweight bout: Vladimir Matyushenko vs. Igor Pokrajac Igor say thank you to Mirko for getting you this job. Pokrajac is a training partner on
Team Cro Cop but will lose quite easily here to the aged "Janitor."
WINNER-Vladimir the "Decisioner"
Lightweight bout: Rob Emerson vs. Rafael dos Anjos Look, the "Saint" sucks as a fighter but gets lucky on the feet every now and again. Anjos is a good fighter who was winning against
Jeremy Stephens before his head got knocked off and lost to Lightweight standout Tyson Griffin. Finally he gets an easier fight and taps the floor hapless Rob.
WINNER-Tres Anjos by sub Rd.3

This is a rather weak PPV (not even as good as UFN 19 Wednesday), especially since the UFC is purposely going up against boxing and the Mayweather/who ever he is fighting guy PPV. At least the boring Floyd is good for something, which is getting us 2 free fights on Spike TV. Save your money though for UFC 107 which has yet to be scheduled but is our next hope for a buyable PPV. Finally, can we get a guy on the scale for the weigh-ins who doesn't take 30 minutes to read the meter for each fighter? I like looking at the UFC ring girls as well but come on, there's more boys in boxers that need to take the stage as well.

UFC Fight Night 19 Results: Diaz & Quarry Impress?

Prelims
Middleweight bout:
Ryan Jensen defeats Steve Steinbeiss with a guillotine choke in Rd.1
Welterweight bout:
Mike Pierce upsets Brock Larson with a dominating unanimous decision. Mikey now rides a 6 fight win streak while Larson loses for only the 3rd time in his career.
Lightweight bout: Jeremy Stephens cuts Justin Buchholz getting the TKO in Rd.1
Middleweight bout: C.B. Dollaway slurps another victory over Jay Silva by decision.
Welterweight bout: Mike Pyle uses those submission skills I was so impressed by to tap Chris Wilson in the final round.
Light Heavyweight bout: I'm pretty shocked Brian Stann gets the unanimous nod over Steve Cantwell in a fight I will have to see.

Main Card
Middleweight bout: Nate Quarry seemed to fight in slow motion, gas after 1 round, got a huge mouse over his right eye, and was all kinds of bloodied up, yet still got the decision win by using his power striking to constantly drop a technically better stand up fighter in Tim Credeur who should have been finished many times but was not. Odd, odd fight.
Welterweight bout: Carlos Condit struggled early and almost got put away by Jake Ellenberger ( a
Marcus Davis clone) in the 1st round by power strikes, but fought through and eeked his way to his 1st UFC win by Split-Decision.
Lightweight bout: Gray Maynard had more trouble than expected against the always tough Roger Huerta who now disembarks for a lackluster career in Hollywood. Gray may get the winner of
BJ Penn vs Diego Sanchez though it has yet to be announced.
Lightweight bout: Nathan Diaz got dropped by a nasty Melvin Guillard punch and was getting whipped when he got a lazy takedown and Mel showed just how inadequate on the ground, and quick to tap he is. Nice much needed win for Nate and Guillard should probably go to the unemployment line.

If'n you noticed the Sam Stout Phillipe Nover fight did not happen because Nover suffered a seizure backstage before the fight. He is said to be fine but of course the fight had to be cancelled. 7-3 on the picks and I'm still wondering what happened to Brock Larson. UFC 103 is next with 2 fights for free on Spike TV!

UFC Fight Night19: Diaz vs Guillard Fight Picks

Leading in to one of the most anticipated seasons of The Ultimate Fighter, we have quite a UFC Fight Night card which may be even better than UFC 103 PPV offered this coming Saturday. Kimbo Slice and the cast of TUF 10 take a seat and enjoy a night of free fighting.

Main Card
Lightweight bout: Nate Diaz vs. Melvin Guillard Nathan is coming off 2 consecutive losses and quite possibly may get cut if he loses again (though I doubt it). Melvin is off the cocaine and looking to up his win streak to 4 and become a journeyman for the Lightweight division. Besides the KO power, Guillard lacks any visible skill on the ground though that didn't stop him from taking a victory in his last bout against a Jiu-Jitsu practitioner in
Gleison Tibau which is also the Church where Diaz worships. Still if Nate is on his game at all, he can use his massive reach to stick that jab in Mels eye before taking him down and submitting him for the 7th time in his career. Gaping holes are meant to be filled Melvin. Just ask your mother. The lack of a floor plan again beckons the downfall for the blond bomber.
WINNER-Nate Diaz sub Rd.2
Lightweight bout: Gray Maynard vs. Roger Huerta Nothing in Roger's appearance or demeanor makes me believe he even wants this fight before he jets off to Hollywood and a straight to DVD career. The UFC benched the talented youngster for a year before giving him this last assignment right before his contract expires. The "Bully" is just that and considering his wrestling pedigree and heavy hands, I don't expect the "Matador" to be in very good shape at the end of this fight. Roger is tough as they come but the
Xtreme Couture protege is looking toward a title shot while Huerta looks to co-starring with Patrick Swayze. What, he died? Oh, well then Eric Roberts.
WINNER-Gray Maynard Keenan by decision
Welterweight bout: Carlos Condit vs.
Jake Ellenberger So the WEC took Condit's belt and then sent him to the UFC where he ran right into Martin Kampmann who is getting pretty damn close to a title shot. Now the "NBK" sets his icy stare on Jake who is a pretty decent fighter in his own right. Just don't expect him to have a good UFC debut as the almost evil Condit uses his height and length to ensnare said fighter before tapping him out in painful fashion.
WINNER-C.C. by sub Rd.1
Middleweight bout: Nate Quarry vs. Tim Credeur Its rock em sock em robots as 2 stiff stand up fighters meet and refuse to make it look pretty. Timmay has improved since TUF but not as much as Nate who don't forget was on the 1st season. Nate is better all around and should bury Tim's UFC career in his "Rock" Quarry (I like puns).
WINNER-The 2nd Nate on the card by TKO Rd.2
Prelims
Light Heavyweight bout: Steve Cantwell vs. Brian Stann The rubber match between the former
WEC Light Heavy Champions but little has changed. Steve is still more well rounded but both possess KO power. Look for each man to be a little too cautious of each other but Cantwell eventually gets the nod.
WINNER-Can Good by decision
Welterweight bout: Chris Wilson vs. Mike Pyle It'll be a close one as
Team Quest meets Xtreme Couture as Matt Lindland and Randy Couture students clash. Interesting no? This should be a really close fight as both men prefer the ground but can bang a bit as well. I like Pyle's transitions better than Wilson's but I doubt he taps him out. Flip a coin.
WINNER-Quicksand by Split-Decision
Middleweight bout: C.B. Dollaway vs. Jay Silva C.B. Douchebag meets another Brazilian named Silva who likes to stand up fight. Weird huh? I'll take the less experienced fighter with admittedly less talent because C.B. seems to be a bit of a puss in general and likes to dictate the matches pace. Not sure he'll get the chance here but this is an Upset Pick so Jay will probably be subbed.
UPSET PICK WINNER-Jay Silva by TKO Rd.1
Lightweight bout:
Sam Stout vs. Phillipe Nover OK Nover, the UFC is trying their damnedest to keep you on the roster and here you have a fellow stand up fighter who definitely won't take you down. I still think you lose and where do you get the balls to wear shades at every weigh-in like you are somebody after dropping your 1st 2 UFC fights? Stout is about as inconsistent as they come but he should win.
WINNER-"Hands Of Stone" by decision
Lightweight bout: Jeremy Stephens vs. Justin Buchholz 2 equally disappointing Lightweights collide with 2 very different styles. Stephens is a brick shit house while Justin wants to lay with you. I'd take Jeremy as being tougher and just beating his way to saving his job.
WINNER-The "Heathen" by decision
Welterweight bout: Brock Larson vs. Mike Pierce Why is pointy nose so far down on the card? The guy is 26-2 with 18 submissions! Oh, Mike is screwed here but lets give Brock a little more credit in the lineup from now on people. Pierce is going to retreat from this 1 faster than Larson's hairline. I don't know why I'm picking on B.L. so much when I like him. Must be a Jr. High pull the girls hair trick.
WINNER-Brock Larson by destruction
Middleweight bout: Ryan Jensen vs. Steve Steinbeiss RULE-"Never pick the guy making his debut."
WINNER-Jenson by decision

MMA Melee The #1 MMA News Source In The Last 5 Minutes Presents: The Old Timers, Name Calling, & A Love Out

Is Pat Miletich returning to the UFC? The "Croation Sensation" has only fought 2 times in last 7 years going 1-1. A UFC Hall Of Fame inductee, has a record of 29-7-2 but is also 41 years old. Randy Couture has set a bad precedent making the older fighters think they can suceed in a young mans sport. Well, Pat needed to mend a few fences with UFC brass but indeed he is trying to score a fight in the UFC. Hopefully, Joe Silva is smarter than that.

Speaking of the ageless wonder Randy Couture, he has been scheduled to fight Brandon Vera at UFC 105. The fight was initially offered to Rashad Evans (who is looking for a fight since Rampage Jackson is off playing Mr.T in the A-Team movie), but he turned it down allowing the "Truth" to step up to the biggest fight of his career. Vera is trying to climb back to the top, and with the "Natural" struggling against strikers today, Brandon may have a chance. By the by, anyone else notice that if Randy fulfills his contract, it is possible that he ends his career 16-16?

The Nevada Athletic Commission has now sanctioned "Main Event" fights can be 5 rounders even if a title is not on the line. While this is a good idea that could have helped Wanderlei Silva against Rich Franklin, the UFC mouthpiece Dana White says they will not adopt the new voluntary policy, instead continuing to make title fights the only 5 round bouts to keep them more special.

Dan Henderson turned down a fight with incoming Antonio "Lil Nog" Nogueira to instead hold out for a possible title shot and new contract. Apparently "Hendo" doesn't want a rematch with Rogerio but a rematch with Anderson Silva instead. There is probably an issue about the money as well. Stay tuned but I don't see Henderson going to Strikeforce or DREAM anytime soon.

Fabricio Werdum is calling out Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion Alistair Overeem is on steroids and not defending the strap. "It seems either that the gummy berry juice he is taking to give him super powers is (causing) him to avoid fighting here in America or he is afraid of having no arms to fight after facing me one more time... There is no sense he takes so long to come and fight in America... I want to say to him that if comes, face me and lose. I will let him take some pictures with my belt and he will be able to keep good memories from his time as a Strikeforce champion." Werdum submitted Overeem with a kimura back in 2006 in a little company called Pride FC. Alistair is scheduled to fight some K-1 kickboxing fights this year and plans to return in 2010, a good 2 years after winning the belt.

Kimbo Slice has developed a fued outside The Ultimate Fighter 10 when he decided to take shots at former trainer/friend/lover Bas Rutten. "I guess with him, he pretended to be a friend but he really wasn't I guess. It was just business with him. You pay a guy good money to teach you things and be a good teacher and they take your money." said the former pornstar bodyguard. "El Guapo" was a bit offended and replied in kind.
"I never said “I tried to teach you stuff but its not working”, I don’t say the word “stuff” when I mean skills or technique, I said, I try to teach you skills but you are not listening. Example, all the fights before the last one, he would print out my game plan, well, he didn’t need to print out my game plan the last fight he had against Seth Petruzelli, first line in the game plan? “DO NOT rush in!”
"I didn’t say that he was an asshole, I said that he TURNED into an asshole, I actually told him this also about 5 weeks before the Petruzelli fight, I told him that I thought he turned into a asshole, he said that he didn’t realize that and apologized, he did that two more times that day and even called me to say he didn’t knew he was doing that. Later I called him an asshole because all of the shit that he took for granted, I also told him that I had no respect for him in our last meeting, but why I said that? I won’t even go there." stated Rutten. These fellas need to hug it out.

At least Anderson Silva and Wanderlei Silva seemed to have been able to mend fences while kissing and making up. "The Spider” indicates that it was just a “misunderstanding” and that everything is now “okay.” So “okay” that Anderson can joke about Wanderlei’s recent procedure on his face, which he underwent to remove scar tissue around his eyes to avoid future cuts and fix his nose to correct a sleep apnea problem. Anderson told him he was more handsome and looked like Angelina Jolie. They are planning to train together again in the future when "The Axe Murderer" returns to the UFC in 2010. Neither man will compete again this year. I just love a happy ending;)

*The picture, honest to god, is Wanderlei's real father!

Bitetti Combat 4 Results

Ricardo Arona took the decision win over Marvin Eastman after a 2 year absence from MMA and in front of his countrymen. Arona looked true enough to form initially, using his tank style takedown to frustrate Eastman but then twisted his knee awkwardly in the 2nd. To the final round Arona came out firing and gutted out a win over the tough "Beastman." Not his greatest performance, and it won't land him a job in the UFC, but at 14-5, he continues his comeback.
Paulo Filho has decided to go fat after being dubbed a steroid user by Gegard Mousasi, but somehow got the judges nod over Alex Schoenauer. This boring spectacle was boo'd by Filho's own Brazilian fans.
Pedro Rizzo has Jeff Monson's number and defeated him in their rematch via decision. Stuff and stuff the takedown leaving the "Snowman" with little else to do. The "Rock" is back (not really).
Murilo Rua TKO win over Alex Stiebling by starching him with a head kick and subsequent beating. At least one notable Brazilian had a good showing here.
Glover Teixeira guillotine'd Leonardo Nascimento*
Milton Vieira split with Luciano Azevedo*
Fabio Maldonado decisions Vitor Miranda *
Luis Dutra Jr. TKO's Henrique Nogueira
Cassiano Tytschyo guillotines Fausto Black
Alexandre Pimentel decisions Luciano Correa

Well that was just an eh show but 5-2 on the picks and thank you to Wikipedia for getting most of the card wrong so the picks don't count.

Bitetti Combat Picks & Predictions

Main card
▪ Light Heavyweight bout: Ricardo Arona vs. Marvin Eastman The main event of the evening is the return of the "Brazilian Tiger" who has not competed since 2007. The former
Pride FC stalwart returns to action against the "Beastman" who is coming off a win at MFC 21. Marvin is best suited for Middleweight though he has plenty of experience at Light Heavy. The size and power of Arona is not to be overlooked though one has to worry about the ring rust. Still, barring the shocking upset loss, expect Ricardo to take Marvin down and punish him with that old G&P style. What we need to watch, is if Arona can return to form and perhaps land a job at one of the elite MMA companies.
WINNER-Ricardo Arona Rd.2 TKO
▪ Light Heavyweight bout: Paulo Filho vs. Alex Schoenauer "Ely" is back home to re-establish himself much like his
BTT counterpart above. He gained the title in WEC after the fall of Pride FC only to fail to make weight in a rematch with Chael Sonnen, and a subsequent trip to rehab for pills. Now after an armbar defeat of Melvin Manhoef in July, Filho tries to put away the tough Alex Schoenauer of Xtreme Couture. Considered a "journeyman" Alex has fought some very tough people and is looking for his 1st fight since the IFL. Good money is on Paulo putting away Alex just as Ricardo will most likely put away Eastman. Guts alone may help Schoe survive till the end.
WINNER-Paulo Filho by decision
▪ Heavyweight bout: Pedro Rizzo vs. Jeff Monson A
rematch from 2007 when the "Rock" put away the "Snowman" but times change. Monson has won 7 fights in a row while Pedro has lost 2 in a row and has not been able to come close to his old self. Look for Jeff to get his way this time around with a ground war and eventual loss on points.
WINNER-Jeff Monson by decision
▪ Light Heavyweight bout: Murilo Rua vs. Alex Stiebling Both men love to hit and miss and strike wildly, but "Ninja" has faced much tougher competition and had more success. Bang exchange and someone drops.
WINNER-Ninja by Rd.2 TKO
▪ Light Heavyweight bout: Glover Teixeira vs. Leonardo Lucio Nascimento Another good throwdown should develop between these 2 guys who fight every year or so.
WINNER-Glover Teixeira by KO

Prelims
▪ Lightweight bout: Luciano Azevedo vs. Milton Vieira Lucy the submission fella versus the
BTT submission fella in a gotta be eventual decision match.
WINNER-Azevedo I guess
▪ Middleweight bout: Henrique Nogueira vs. Eduardo Pamplona His name is "Chocolate," sexual chocolate against Pampers who will win via decision.
WINNER-Pamplona
▪ Lightweight bout: Alexandre Pimentel vs. Luciano Izzy The undefeated pimple defeats the guy I have never heard of and have zero information on.
WINNER-Pimentel by scissor kick
▪ Heavyweight bout: Vitor Miranda vs. Fabio Maldonado There are 2 Vitor Miranda's according to the Interweb but Fabio is on
Team Nogueira with the famous Brazilian brothers so I'll take him.
WINNER-Fabio by KO (because it rhymes)
▪ Middleweight bout: Leandro Silva vs. Cassiano Tytschyo A guy named Silva in Brazil, no shit. Anyway, both guys are decent strikers who are both coming off losses. This is a coin flip fight but I'll take....
WINNER-Batata

Top 10 Hottest Female MMA Fighters

Its always good to put together a Top 10 list, but you must focus on the important things and not the trivial. Thus, after painstaking research, MMAFO has put together the Top 10 Females of MMA, based upon the elite status of looks. Anything I can do to help the women of MMA and not degrade them down to frivolous aspects that have nothing to do with the fight game.

  1. MICHELLE WATERSON "The Karate Hottie" is currently 5-3 in MMA. A Muay Thai trained kickboxer who stole the show on Oxygen's "Fight Girls" reality show.
  2. GINA CARANO "Conviction" is 7-1 in MMA and 12-1-1 in kickboxing. Also a Muay Thai trained fighter Gina has become known as the "face of women's MMA" and one of the most popular people in the entire sport.
  3. KYRA GRACIE Of the famed Gracie clan, Kyra is one of the few females to have gained blackbelt status in Jiu-Jitsu. She is also a 2 time ADCC Abu Dhabi Champion, and a 3 time World BJJ Champion.
  4. MIKA NAGANO is a 3-2 MMA fighter who competes in Japan's Jewels promotion. She is smokin' hot and improving with each fight.
  5. ELENA REID is a 30-5 boxer who is making the transition to MMA where she is undefeated at 3-0.
  6. MELANIE KOHLER Mel is a blonde bombshell who is 8-5 in kickboxing and a 10 on the chick scale.
  7. SARAH PONCE is a kickboxer who as luck would have it, also doubles as a model.
  8. HISAW WATANABE is a 19-6 MMA fighter who competes in Japan for Smackgirl and DEEP promotions.
  9. LISA KING "The Black Widow" is a 6-1 kickboxer who has also found success in the modeling biz.
  10. KIM COUTURE "Sugar Free" is best known as being the 2nd former Ms. Randy Couture, but is a cute plucky who has gone 1-1 in MMA continuing after a bad beatdown and broken nose in her 1st fight.
This is the definitive list of the baddest ass's in female MMA today. Feel free to Google these lovely ladies to agree.
