Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou (April 18, 1984) is a mixed martial arts fighter from Cameroon.

Sokoudjou was the 2001 US Open Judo champion. He trains with Team Quest where he is a kickboxing and MMA instructor.

He is currently fighting with PRIDE FC. In his PRIDE debut, Sokoudjou acheived an stunning upset by knocking out Antonio Rogerio Nogueira at PRIDE 33, where he was the underdog at 16 to 1 odds.[1] His last fight was a KO win over Brazilian Top Team standout and Nogueira stablemate Ricardo Arona at PRIDE 34 on April 8, 2007.SOKOUDJOU is currently training at Team Quest alongside Dan Henderson. SOKOUDJOU, who has been building up his physique since childhood, pursues Judo. Champion of the 2001 and bronze medalist at the 2003 US Open Judo Championships, SOKOUDJOU has also defeated Shinichi Shinohara and is considered by many as the next Olympic candidate. He was then introduced to MMA, and was drawn to its appeal. In addition to his large physical capacity, he wields as his weapon the ground techniques he has developed through Judo. With 2 wins out of 3 MMA matches, he has yet to build experience, but is nonetheless quickly absorbing new techniques. He is particularly improving his punches at the standing position.
