MMA legend Rickson Gracie is slated by K-1 Hero's press release to face the winner of Kazushi Sakuraba and Masakatsu Funaki at the New Year's Eve show. Funaki last fought in 2000 which was also Rickson's last fight in which Gracie won by rear naked choke. Sakuraba has beaten Royce Gracie (though he lost to him in the yawn filled rematch), Royler Gracie, Renzo Gracie, and Ryan Gracie all in route to gaining the name "The Gracie Hunter" and becoming a house hold name in Japan. The match with Rickson (rumored to be more than 300-0) will take place in the spring.
