UFC 141 Results
Diego Nunes defeats Manny Gamburyan by Unanimous Decision. Nunes got on the hot foot and did the distance thing while Manny charged forward like a mini-Matt Serra. Rinse and repeat.

Jacob Volkmann defeats Efrain Escudero by Unanimous Decision. Its "X-Mas" wrestling all day save for a close guillotine choke by Efrain late in the fight. Jacob then tried to be funny in the post fight interview and bombed awfully and would later blame Joe Rogan for the flop saying he wanted to "punch him in the nuts." This boring douche bag is embarrassing.

Dong Hyun Kim clobbered Sean Pierson by Unanimous Decision. The "Donger" hit the front kick three or more times just keeping Sean on his heels and absorbing punishment. I still don't understand why "Stun Gun" can't fix his endurance issues but he is still showing improvment though he lacks any killer instinct. A long rambling post fight speech in Japanese follows as we cringe at the awkwardness together.

Danny Castillo defeats Anthony Njokuani by Split-Decision.

Ross Pearson defeats Junior Assuncao by Unanimous Decision in his Featherweight debut.

Jim Hettes anhiliated Nam Phan by Unanimous Decision.

Alexander Gustafsson TKO's Vladimir Matyushenko with punches 2:13 into round 1. The "Janitor" straight ran into a "Mauler" jab and then the young Gustafsson put Vlad away looking good but needing a real test in the sparce Light Heavyweight Top 10.

Johny Hendricks KO's Jon Fitch a mere 0:12 into the contest! Meet the left hand of Johny Hendricks Mr. Fitch! Johny threw a full force bomb that dropped Fitch and a single follow up fist ends Jon's night early. Just a brutal KO and a good stoppage saving the unconcious Fitch. "KO Of The Night"

Nate Diaz gives the fight of his life and soundly defeats Donald Cerrone by Unanimous Decision. The "Cowboy" flipped off 209 Jr. during the staredown and the boys quickly went ot work. Diaz striking looked pinpoint and Donald looked hurt early and often in the opening round. Nate grew with confidence and continued to rock Cerrone who had no answers and took a 10-8 opening round beating. In the 2nd, Cerrone found Nate's leg as he continually dropped Diaz with sweeping leg kicks. Nate had trouble avoiding the kicks but pressed forward still landing rapid fire striking. Before the final round Diaz returned the middle finger high in the air as a gassed looking "Cowboy" simply nodded as the last round began. Diaz looked to be making a point out striking Cerrone with a bevvy of striking. The bell rings and the men bug finding respect for each other after the brutal war. Amazing fight! "Fight Of The Night"

Alistair Overeem TKO's a fraudulent looking Brock Lesnar with a TKO kick to the body and punches only 2:26 into round 1. Brock came in pumping his fist to Kid Rock and then looked like a WWE Pro Wrestler taking one half hearted takedown attempt and then taking brutal knees to his gut. More knees follow and a liver kick sends Lesnar crashing to the canvas. He covers up but Overeem gets some punches through as Brock simply gives up and the fight ends. Lesnar announces his retirement and how can you not think this guy just hoodwinked us all into thinking he is a legit fighter. That was sad but a confidence boosting moment for "Ubereem" who is now a star in America and moves on to a mega fight with Cain, I mean Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos.

Hayato Sakurai defeats Ryo Chonan in a fight featuring men a mere shell of their former selves, by Unanimous Decision.

Tatsuya Kawajiri submits Kazuyuki Miyata by Arm-Triangle Choke in the 2nd round. Miyata had nothing to offer as the "Crusher" smothered him with wrestling and almost tapped Kaz at the end of the 1st round with the eventual ending move. Tatsuya looks great at Featherweight but will be come to the UFC and can he still hang with the elite? "Submission Of The Night"

Megumi Fujii submits Karla Benitez by Armbar only 1:15 in the 1st. Karla had no shot here in a feature for Fujii.

Bibiano Fernandes TKO's Antonio Banuelos 1:21 into round 1 to become the DREAM Bantamweight Grand Prix winner!

Hiroyuki Takaya defeats Takeshi Inoue in a lackluster fight that saw "" retain his Featherweight Championship. "Lion" looked terrible and Takaya continues to not impress.

Shinya Aoki defeats friend Satoru Kitaoka Unanimous Decision to retain his Lightweight Championship.

Fedor Emelianenko destroys Satoshi Ishii via KO 2:29 into the very 1st round! Ishii looked terrified and Fedor's striking was precise and powerful. The blistering combinations of old were back but Satoshi just looked weak but did eat some brutal shots before crumbling to the mat as Emelianenko simply walks away. The "Last Emperor" ends the year in style!

15-4 on the picks to end the year 335-123 or 73% which is pretty bad ass!
