Bellator 70, Titan FC 22, & TUF "Live" Semi-Finals Results:

Bellator 70 Results
Cole Konrad retained his Heavyweight title tapping hapless Eric Prindle by 1st round Keylock.  A single takedown and then the submission sealed this bout very quickly.  I really hope we don't have to see Eric Prindle again and Bellator is in desperate need of Heavyweight challengers.

Rick Hawn defeated a game Brent Weedman by Unanimous Decision to win the Lightweight tournament and schedule a future meeting with champion Michael Chandler.  Both men started cautious with Weedman gaining the upper hand early on his kicking game and more aggressive attack.  Rick's jab and right hand began landing again and again as time went on and even got a few throws on Brent though he landed on his feet like a cat after the 1st judo toss.  In the end, a takedown and pressure won the day for Hawn who now has the tall task of facing Bellator's undefeated champion.

Luis Nogueira TKO's Hiroshi Nakamura in the 3rd round in one of the better bouts on the evening.

Rich Clementi tapped Derek Campos by a standard Guillotine Choke in the very 1st round.  Yup.  That happened.

Titan FC 22 Results
Anthony Johnson defeated the scurrying David Branch by Unanimous Decision in a less than impressive bout.  Branch got on his bike early and circled away for most of the bout frustrating "Rumble" who could only land leg kicks with his long legs.  Tony got a hold of David against the cage where both men stalled out numerous times to the dismay of the crowd.  Johnson would land some shots as Branch ran and two takedowns sealed the deal as "Rumble" won to a shower of boo's.  After the bout, Johnson still wouldn't accept blame for missing weight for a 4th time but now may be finally heading up to 205.

LC Davis TKO's Bill Kamery in the 2nd round to get back on the winning track and looked pretty good at 135.  Much faster and with better wrestling credentials, Davis gained the upper hand before putting the sturdy fighter away.  It was nice to hear Bill enter to some Dropkick Murphy's which gives him a little credit.

Andre Whitney, Fabio Mello, and Mirsad Bektic also earned one sided stoppage victories but it was Rudy Bears who put on a show.  The Missouri crowd chanted, "Rudy, Rudy" spurning on the relentless attack of Bears.  Strikes dropped his opponent and Rudy then unloaded with a blitzkrieg assault of strikes even looking at the referee for a stoppage while punishing his victim.  Finally the fallen had enough and Bears won taking the heart of his opponent!

TUF "Live" Semi-Finals Results
Al Iaquinta and Mike Chiesa won their respective bouts and will meet in the finals for the TUF crown nobody cares about June 1st.  The bouts were eh.  Still, Urijah Faber got both of his men into the finals gaining him another victory over wounded champion Dominick Cruz.

11-1 on the picks and like I said before, a nice way to pad the stats.
