"Killa-B" is back in the UFC! That's right fight fans, Ben Saunders (16-6-2) is scheduled to make his triumphant return to Zuffa in the near future.
ATT's popular fighter made his debut for the UFC way back in 2006 at the Ultimate Fighter 6 Finale. Saunders went 4-3 for the promotion before being released in 2010 and making his way into Bellator's cage where he went a respectable 7-3, making their tournament finals twice. Two of those losses came against eventual Bellator Welterweight Champion Douglas Lima.
Ben had recently signed with Titan FC but was graciously released from his contract when the UFC came calling. Titan COO Lex McMahon explained that their promotion has a "Zuffa clause," in all of their fighters contracts, that allow them out if a shot at the big dance is available which is actually quite noble in the cutthroat business world.
"Killa-B" is known for his trademark smile during fight whether he is winning or not, and always bringing an exciting win or die style. Ben loves the Thai Plum and used it back in 2008 to absolutely destroy Brandon Wolff with no less than 42 knees which badly disfigured his opponent.
Welcome back to the bright lights "Killa-B!" You were missed and MMAFO can't wait to see you compete in the Octagon soon.
