UFC Fight Night 167 Anderson vs. Blachowicz 2: Fight Card, Prognostications + Odds

February 15, 2020
Santa Ana Star Center
Rio Rancho, New Mexico
UFC Fight Night 167 Fight Card
#6 Corey Anderson -220 vs. #8 Jan Błachowicz +200 [Rematch]

"Beastin' 25/8" (we'll never let that go) has won 4 in a row, over two good opponents and two journeymen, and somehow thinks he is owed a title fight. Fucking people these days (smh). The Johnny Walker win was impressive last out but it's a fluke. Take into account his only UFC finishes came against Matt Van Buren and Sean O'Connell. The fact is that the guy is a "decision machine" and that is fine, but you have to stack up a lot of wins. Beating two ranked opponents doesn't earn you shit. Wake up.

Blachowicz has been rolling as of late winning 6 of his last 7 with the only loss coming to the surging Thiago Santos. His resume is much better but he's also been in the game longer, is older by six years, and though durable as hell, he's slow as molasses.

Anderson should be able to do what he do and garner enough points to win three rounds while nobody gives a shit. Then he'll still need a win over Thiago Santos and Dominick Reyes to deserve a title shot.

Diego Sanchez +145 vs. Michel Pereira -155

Let the insanity reign! Diego is an absolute psychopath simpleton who should have retired long ago, against the "Demolidor" who danced and flipped his way to an embarrassing debut loss last September.

With Sanchez screaming, "Yes, yes," and Pereira executing backflips mid-fight anything can happen.

Michel may be a stupid level of reckless, but he can land something to put Diego in the shadow realm where he belongs.

Devin Clark -380 vs. Dequan Townsend

#10 Montana De La Rosa -170 vs. Mara Romero Borella +160

Montana shouldn't have a ton of trouble here. Sure, she slipped up last out against Andrea Lee, but she's still a prospect at Flyweight and far better than her opponent.

WiNNER-Montana De La Rosa by Decision

Brok Weaver -260 vs. Rodrigo Vargas +240

Yancy Medeiros +110 vs. Landon Vannata -120

Remember when "Lando" entered the UFC and we all thought he was going to be something? Now, just over 3 years later, Vannata has a 2-4-2 record and is likely fighting for his job.

"The Kid" is Hawaiian so he's tough as shit and does well until he meets the elite of the division. This should be an exciting fight but Medeiros is the pick.

Upset Pick WiNNER-Yancy Medeiros by Decision

Tim Means -335 vs. Daniel Rodriguez +275

Not sure if Joe Rogan or Eddie Bravo over at 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu got Dan the job, but he's in for a rough night against "The Dirty Bird."

WiNNER-Tim Means by Rd.2 TKO

John Dodson +240 vs. Nathaniel Wood -150

It's another "don't care Dodson" fight.

Jim Miller +115 vs. Scott Holtzman -135

Jim Miller over on Instagram cutting dark villainous promos. Atta boy Jim. MMAFO has so much respect for the veteran and it is amazing the career this man has had in the meat grinder that is the UFC's 155 division. "A10" has been doing the damn thing since 2005 and amassed a 20-12-1 which is absolutely insane! The younger Miller brother is now 36 but has been on a resurgence winning 3 of his last 4 all by 1st round finishes!

"Hot Sauce" is 6-3 in the UFC with his claim to fame being a win over Josh Emmett and being a former Hockey player.

Look, we're obviously Jim Miller fanboys over here at MMAFO but he does have far more experience, the men are the same age, and Jim has vicious clinch elbows and finishing instincts that will carry him for at least two rounds.

Upset Pick WiNNER-Jim Miller by Decision

Rogério Bontorin +135 vs. Ray Borg -145

Fuuuuuuuuuuuck this guy! Seriously. Ray Borg has missed weight 4 fucking times in two different weight classes and vowed confidently that if he ever missed weight again he'd retire! Well, you missed again. Piss off. This guy has been entitled and unprofessional his entire career.

Upset Pick WiNNER-Rogerio Bontorin by Decision

Casey Kenney +160 vs. Merab Dvalishvilli -170

Macy Chiasson -750 vs. Shanna Young +600

Right after we anointed Macy as a true contender at Bantamweight, she gets beaten by Lina Lansberg who exploited her ground deficiencies. Even so, we expect great things from the Louisianan and this is a "get-right fight." Macy should wreck "The Shanimal" in short order.

WiNNER-Macy Chiasson by Rd.2 TKO

Mark De La Rosa +225 vs. Raulian Paiva -245
