Rumors and speculation surround free agent and Pride Middleweight Champion Wanderlei Silva. It has been reported that Silva has signed a huge deal with K 1 worth twice the amount that Pride FC was offering him. Wanderlei has been with Pride since the year 2000, and has been one of, if not, the top draw for the company his entire career. This would allow fellow Chute Boxe members to fight for his title since the rule is teammates cannot fight each other. Shogun and Ninja Ruas could both compete for this title. This also means that if K 1 and UFC have a talent swapping deal (as reported before), that Silva could face fighters such as Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz, Ken Shamrock, Andrei Arlovski, and all the other top UFC competitors!
