Bobby Lashley defeats Wes Sims in a spectacle bout that ended about as awfully as expected. “The Boss” hits the double leg takedown and is pounding out Sims when the referee steps in too early and awards Lashley the TKO win. We learn nothing about Bobby’s growth and had our time wasted.
Robbie Lawler KO’d Melvin Manhoef all the way to China with an overhand right from hell and a left hand just for the coma. Manhoef was just abusing the lead leg of Lawler, shooting it into the sky and looking to attack the squared up wrestler when “Ruthless” hit the prayer no-look punch and pasted Mel out! Melvin was out cold for quite some time and finally came around with a single trickle of blood running down his confused face. 1 round KO, as advertised. “Live by the sword, die by the sword.”
Herschel Walker defeats a Tomato Can by Rd.3 something or other. #34 pivots around a bit landing a jab and stuffs a takedown attempt by Nagy which is pronounced “Nudge” oddly enough. Then Herschel stacks up Nooge and commits some awful G&P and almost gets caught in a leglock. Then in the 2nd the 3 commentators begin cumming on each other about how amazing Herschel Walker is. UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre is shown in attendance and gets a nice hand from the crowd. Walker is awkwardly out of position constantly but Greg is selling this “work” badly. Walker punches the shoulder of his opponent and the ref stops the horrible fight. I believe Greg will go back to his job setting up the cage now.
Dan Henderson got the biggest pop of the crowd and possible future opponent Gegard Mousasi did as well. Listen to the commentary on the Hershel Walker bout and you can actually hear Frank Shamrock’s balls slapping the ass of Mauro Ranallo as they visualize #34 fisting their sphincters. Its interesting. There has, I mean has to be a future fight with Kimbo Slice. 2 gifted fighters nearing their primes and on the cusp of MMA greatness.
The title section of the card begins with "Femborg" Santos using her bullying striking style to take out Marloes Coenen in the 3rd round. Cristiane just kept turning the intensity level up when everyone thought she would fade and this Chute Boxe star looks unstoppable. Marloes had heart but I can't wait till Erin Toughhill gets her shot and they find out who has the bigger penis.
Nick Diaz defeats Marius Zaromskis by Rd.1, yes that's Rd.1 TKO! Zaromskis strikes 1st with a leg assault and then Nick pins him to the gate and unloads about 500 knee to knee strikes. Finally separated they unload bombs and Diaz is dropped. Many back of the head shots and a “final” warning giving by the ref. Diaz is bleeding on schedule and now the fight is really on as these 2 guys throw!! “Diablo” lands a straight right and a now standard body shots as Marius is on skates! The “Whitemare” is living one as he hits the canvas after a the onslaught and Diaz is the winner in the 1st round and your Strikeforce Welterweight Champion! “That’s Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu mother fuckers!” Diaz seems indifferent to winning and mentions his little brother won his last fight indicating that they believe he was robbed by the judges. Smoke the purple kush its pandemonium in Stockton baby as the 3rd Strikeforce belt comes to the “Scrap Pack” and Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu clan!
