Demetrious Johnson dominated John Dodson to retain his Flyweight title in a Unanimous Decision (50-45, 49-46, 49-46).

For all the shit Dodson talked leading up to the fight, he obviously learned nothing from his initial meeting with Johnson. "Mighty Mouse" came forward and did not back up until the 4th round when he decided to take a little break after dominating the 1st 15 minutes of the fight. Demetrious took the fight to his lil' challenger forcing the issue and snapping back the head of John time and time again while not being there for the payback. Dodson never had an answer, and quite frankly looked like he took a step backwards in his game while the best Pound4Pound fighter in the world continues to improve each time out while he rules over the Flyweight division. Not much more to save except there were a few boo birds in the house but Demetrious had the proper response to his ignorant critics saying, "The fans are fans. They're just fucking idiots." Succinct and true. "MVP (best performance) of the Night"

Andrei Arlovski defeated Frank Mir by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27) in a lackluster co-main event.

Ew, this was a bad fight. It was hard to tell who had the worst cardio as the men hugged against the fence much to the dismay of the bored Vegas crowd. The 1st and 3rd were Arlovski's but Frank showed a little light in the 2nd though neither man go a hell of a lot going. This was not a fight that Andrei can springboard off of to ask for a title shot. Franklin, its time to retire buddy.

Anthony Johnson KO’d Jimi Manuwa via Punches at 0:28 of the 2nd round.

"Rumble" looked like a Heavyweight stomping Manuwa. Tony used a little wrestling to take Jimi down in the 1st round to wear him down a bit, but unleashed hell in the 2nd crushing the Brit with a kick to the body and then an overhand right that short circuits Jimi, before adding a final right on the ground which almost took Manuwa's head off.

It's really a shame we can't root for this guy because he really is an impressive MMA fighter. The shame is the guy just doesn't know how to conduct himself as a human being or professional. Johnson walked past press row after his win an exclaimed, "write about that shit." as if he had done nothing in his personal life to earn bad press.

Anthony furthered his habitual anger at the post fight presser saying, “Like I said before, you guys are going to write what you want want to write. A lot of you guys write a lot of bullshit. But that’s what you do. That’s what you have to do to get paid, and I’m fine with that."

It doesn't seem like he's fine with that and besides the domestic abuse allegations and the bullying of a female at a gym, now MMAFO learns there is an online petition against Anthony Johnson because he owns a kennel where they clip dogs ears which is inhumane and disgusting. Beating up on people outside of the cage is one thing, but MMAFO will not tolerate abuse to innocent loving animals. "Rumble" is even deeper on our Shit List now!

Corey Anderson defeated Jan Blachowicz by Unanimous Decision (30-25, 30-25, 29-26) in an impressive performance.

Okay, we are now officially "in" on Anderson. This guy looked impressive. Corey stood with Jan losing the 1st but hanging tough. Then he adjusted his game in the 2nd, taking the Pole down over and over and smashing him with nasty elbows. What was most impressive about Corey was his poise in-between rounds as he listened to his coaches and breathed like he had just woke up from a nap. This guy is doing all the right things and we can't wait to see more.

Paige VanZant submitted Alex Chambers via Armbar at 1:01 of the 3rd round.

PVZ did her thang clinching up with Alex and pouring on the non-stop pressure. Paige was unloading on Chambers in the 3rd and saw an errant arm which she snatched for the beautiful armbar victory. A really nice submission and another good performance by the youngster. "Submission of the Night"

Ross Pearson defeated Paul Felder by Split Decision (28-29, 30-27, 29-28).

We're not really sure why these guys thought they had a "classic" fight out there but the sitting post fight interview was a new awkward moment for history. Ross looked much faster out there using his combination attack to frustrate Felder who looked slow but it was only a decent fight. Someone needs to get in Paul's ear and tell him when he's not winning a fight and both men need to stop high fiving and fight the damn fight. Perhaps taking this fight after competing just a month ago was a bad idea but Pearson won this bout and we're not sure why Paul was surprised at the decision. A nice much needed win for good guy Pearson and the young Felder has now lost 2 in a row and has some soul searching to do.

John Lineker submitted Francisco Rivera via Submission (Guillotine) at 2:08 of a 1 round war!

These guys threw around 100 punches in two minutes of fighting! Sure it wasn't technical, but it was a fun as hell brawl! Lineker's strikes just landed with more authority as Rivera crashed to the mat where John put on the finishing touch guillotine. Fun as hell boys. Fun as hell. "Fight of the Night"

Raquel Pennington submitted Jessica Andrade by RNC at 4:58 of the 2nd round.

"Rocky" got her revenge just out toughing Jessica and sneaking in the submission late. How did Andrade not know there were only 2 seconds left on the clock we'll never know. Oh, well.

Tiago dos Santos e Silva defeated Clay Collard via Split Decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28).

Aaaand just skip past this lack of technical skill, fight fans.

Joe Riggs was gifted a DQ (Illegal Upkick) win over  Ron Stallings  at 2:28 of the 2nd round in a debacle.

This piece of bullshit really sticks in our craw. Stallings caught old man Joe with a punch in the opening round that cut Riggs' eye and caused him discomfort. Joe claimed it was an eye poke. Between rounds, Joe told his corner he couldn't see and wanted to quit though his team basically ignored him and threw him back out to the fight. Then "Diesel" landed a good punch that dropped Ron and followed up with elbows causing a lot of blood to cover the "Choir Boys" face. Stallings then threw an upkick, which granted, was illegal as Riggs had three points down, that jacked Joe's jaw. The referee called for timeout and Riggs claimed the kick hit his already damaged eye and he could no longer see causing a halt to the contest.

Now, the kick was illegal, but it did not hit the eye. The eye was damaged from a legal punch in the 1st round. The referee made the wrong call here and awarded the win to Riggs via disqualification. The referee should have called the bout a No Contest because the upkick had nothing to due with Joe's eye injury.

Joe Rogan gave Riggs every excuse he could possibly need post-fight though the video showed the kick did not hit the eye. Joe was lying about the root of his injury to snake a win which is despicable. If you don't want to fight, retire. Don't go out there and cry foul to earn a bullshit victory from a moronic referee. This was terrible from start to finish.

The referee was wrong, Riggs is a liar, and Stallings should be embarrassed not for the upkick, but for letting Joe back in the fight when he had it in the 1st round. Everyone here is to blame.

Joaquim Silva defeated Nazareno Malegarie via Split Decision (28-29, 30-27, 30-27).

This was a competitive fight that could have gone either way. Naz had better technique with his strikes and was the aggressor, but Silva's punches did more damage. Decent fight.
