UFC Fight Night 99 & 100 Results: Mousasi & Bader Dominate The Double Feature

UFC FIGHT NIGHT 99 RESULTS:

Gegard Mousasi TKO'd Uriah Hall with punches at 4:37 of the 1st round.

"Sweet Sassy" Mousasi easily gets the win as Hall seemingly gives up on the 1st takedown. Oh well, MMAFO has always questioned Uriah's heart. Gegard was gracious in victory (as always) and moves on in the 185 division clear headed.

Stevie Ray defeated Ross Pearson by Split Decision (27-30, 30-27 x2) in a lackluster affair.

Alexander Volkov defeated Timothy Johnson by Split Decision (29-28, 27-30, 29-28).

Artem Lobov defeated Teruto Ishihara by Unanimous Decision (30-27 x2, 29-28).

Poor Ishi just couldn't sit still long enough to land anything meaningful while Lobov was technical and patient. Conor McGregor jumped in the cage post fight and celebrated with his teammate exciting the Irish crowd who prolly doesn't realize Art is Russian.

Jack Marshman TKO'd Magnus Cedenblad by punches at 3:32 of the very 1st round.

Kyoji Horiguchi defeated Ali Bagautinov by Unanimous Decision (30-27 x3).

Kevin Lee submitted Magomed Mustafaev by Technical Submission via Rear-Naked Choke at 4:31 of the 2nd round.

Amanda Cooper defeated Anna Elmose by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28 x2).

Justin Ledet tapped Mark Godbeer via Rear-Naked Choke at 2:16 of the 1st round.

Zak Cummings submitted Alexander Yakovlev by Armbar at 4:02 of the 2nd round.

Marion Reneau TKO'd Milana Dudieva with Elbows at 3:03 of the final round.

Brett Johns defeated Kwan Ho Kwak by Unanimous Decision (30-27 x3).

Abdul Razak Alhassan TKO'd Charlie Ward with Punches at 0:53 of the 1st round.

ARA looked like a straight murderer out there. Of course, Ward is far too green (pardon the Irish pun) but a great showing for Alhassan anywho.

UFC FIGHT NIGHT 100 RESULTS:

Ryan Bader TKO'd Antonio Rogerio Nogueira by mauling at 3:51 of the 3rd round.

That went exactly as expected and now "Darth" Bader has fought out his contract and is now a free agent! Let the bidding again and beloved or blah, there is a lot of need for 205ers in the MMA world. We thinks Ryan would be a great fit in Bellator and hope he makes some deserved money$.

Thomas Almeida TKO'd Albert Morales via Punches at 1:37 of the 2nd round.

Almeida survived a surprisingly game Morales and then found his range unloading pure hell on poor Al. Thomas is back to form and continues on.

Claudia Gadelha defeated Cortney Casey by Unanimous Decision (30-27 x3).

Whoa, that was a dirty ass kick to the head while Casey was downed and post fight Gadelha claims it didn't land. Wrong! It landed and Claudia is starting to get a reputation for rule breaking like the 1st meeting when she punched Joanna Jedrzejczyk waaay after the bell. Work to do young lady.

Krzysztof Jotko defeated Thales Leites by Unanimous Decision (29-27, 30-27 x2).

Kamaru Usman defeated Warlley Alves by Unanimous Decision (29-27, 30-26, 29-28).

Sergio Moraes defeated Zak  Ottow by Split Decision (28-29, 30-27 x2).

Cezar Ferreira submitted Jack Hermansson via Arm-Triangle Choke at 2:11 of the 2nd round.

Give the devil his due, this was the best "Mutante" has looked thus far in the UFC. Cezar was smart out there and owned Jack on the mat. MMAFO can admit when they are wrong and an "atta boy" from us.

Gadzhimurad Antigulov tapped Marcos Rogerio de Lima by Guillotine Choke at 1:07 of the 1st round.

Johnny Eduardo TKO'd Manny Gamburyan with Punches at 0:46 of the 2nd round.

Call it a day as Manny "The Manvil" Gamburyan retired post fight. Can't say we were fans but we wish him the best anyway.

Luis Henrique tapped Christian Colombo via Guillotine Choke at 2:12 of the 3rd round.

Pedro Munhoz submitted Justin Scoggins by Guillotine Choke at 1:55 of the 2nd round.

Oh, got caught slippin' eh fella? Justin let his guard down and Pedro latched onto that guillotine and got a nice Upset.

Darren Stewart TKO'd Francimar Barroso with Punches at 1:34 of the opening round.

MMAFO covered 30 fights this weekend (!) and went a respectable 21-9.
Bellator 165 4-1
UFC Fight Night 99   9-4
UFC Fight Night 100 8-4
