Bellator 200 Carvalho vs. Mousasi: Fight Card, Picks, Odds, & Anastasia Yankova!

Can you believe it's Bellator 200?! What a celebration! /s Bellator really mailed it in for their anniversary card with a weak event which will be on tape delay from England just adding to the general malaise that surrounds this promotion and it's continual errors in business. However, Anastasia Yankova will be in the house!

Main Card:

Middleweight Champion #9 Rafael Carvalho (15-1) vs. #2 Gegard Mousasi (43-6-2)

Carvalho has quietly won 15 in a row while obtaining the gold, strong striker and good worker.

"Sweet Sassy" Mousasi, "The Dreamcatcher," "The Young Vagabond," has been MMAFO's boy for 12 years now and if you think we're bailing out now you are crazy pills.

The striking contest in this bout could be close and nerve racking, but if and when Gegard gets Rafael to the canvas, it's curtains. Mousasi has faced the absolute elite of the game, has a gorgeous jab from Hell, the veteran savvy, in his prime, and he will find the ways to win. Bet.

WINNER-Gegard Mousasi by Rd.3 Submission

Mirko Filipovic versus Roy Nelson has been Cancelled!
"Cro Cop" injured his leg and is off the card. "Big Country" will now be an alternate in the Bellator Heavyweight (Open Weight) Grand Prix.

Michael Page (12-0) vs. David Rickels (19-4, 2)

Rickels is a fun action fighter who has really creative entrances that entertain. "The Caveman" has won 3 in a row and is a well rounded brawler who can do work when clinched up close. The problem, is that Dave overreaches which has earned him 3 (T)KO losses.

"MVP" is finally, FINALLY, facing a decent opponent which fans have begged Bellator to make for years. Page is an entertaining, flamboyant, and accurate striker, but he does have lapses in his game like in his last outing when he simply quit fighting to the point where he was warned by the referee.

"Venom" is going to have a major speed advantage and if he stays on the outside chipping away, he could be safe. However, we have yet to see anyone really ground Mike and David could be the guy. Rickels is not going to let Page have it easy as he will attack and attack some more. The rub is, that that aggression will lead to getting pieced up unless "MVP" isn't what we think he is.

WINNER-Michael Page by Decision

Phil Davis (18-4) vs. Linton Vassell (18-6)

Vassell has never won when faced with the elite and at the very least, "Mr. Wonderful" got his hands on gold for a minute or two. Linton is a serviceable combatant but nothing special. Phil is the far superior wrestler with crazy long reach (legs & arms) and is better in every aspect of the game.

WINNER-Phil Davis by Decision

Aaron Chalmers (3-0) vs. Ash Griffiths (4-5)

We do not give a fuck about this throwaway Brit reality TV show nothing. Ash has a below .500 record and has been (T)KO'd 3 times!

WINNER-Aaron Chalmers by Rd.2 TKO

Anastasia Yankova (5-0) vs. Kate Jackson (9-3-1)

Look, full disclosure, MMAFO is only paying attention to Anastasia's career because she is a hot as fuck Russian. She's been just average so far as a fighter but just fucking look at her!

WINNER-Anastasia Yankova by Decision

Picks Results:
UFC 224 11-2
UFN 129 9-4
