MMA Melee (MMA Weekend News): The Nose Poke of Doom!

Cheick "Quit" Kongo was getting throttled by Bellator Heavyweight (& Light Heavyweight) Champion Ryan Bader when he went for the Oscar and pretended that "Darth" poked him in the eye. The problem is, the video and pictures do not lie. An uppercut from the Power MMA fighter hurt Cheick and he pretended it was an eye poke. Teammate Quinton Jackson then "Rampaged" into the cage attempting to brawl with Bader in a desperate attempt to be relevant in MMA, and defend his pal. Spoiler Jackson, you're not. The bout is called off but the world knows who won the night. Kongo does NOT deserve a rematch and should fuck right off. He's been a notorious cheater his entire career and nobody cares.

Joanne "Bad MoFo JoJo" Calderwood is now 3-1 at Flyweight and a legit contender as she legit bested Andrea Lee in a great contest! The Scottish lass out struck, out grappled, and out gamed "KGB" and MMAFO never had a doubt. Okay, okay, we fucked up a bit. Sorry "Dr. Kneevil" we got weak but you proved to be strong. So, so happy for her. 

Our best wishes go out to Albert Gonzales who was badly injured when he suffered a horrific leg break. It's shades of Anderson Silva and Corey Hill's respective leg breaks so be warned before you go looking for it. 

Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated Dustin Poirier and it went exactly as expected. There was a lot of mutual respect from both fighters that really showed how great the sport can be. However, the Chechen dictator Ramzan Kadyrov was actually in attendance. The UFC should be fucking ashamed of letting such an evil cunt into their tent. Of course, they shouldn't hold an event in such a backwards country with so, so many human rights violations, but it's obvious that the UFC cares little for anything other than money. Anywho, if Tony Ferguson doesn't get a title shot after all of this, well, there is no hope for MMA anymore. Boy, that got dark after a nice start didn't it?
