After being fired from the UFC and fined $25,000 for not releasing an anaconda choke on his last victim David Heath, Renato "Babalu" Sobral is back! Strikeforce stepped up and immediately signed the deadly veteran to a deal. Renato is looking to have his 1st fight with his new promotion in December and in his words, "the sooner the better." Strikeforce just had a MMA event last weekend at the fabled Playboy Mansion with such stars as Gilbert Melendez, Joe Riggs, Josh Thompson, and Daniel Puder.
No opponent has been announced yet but Sobral (28-7) is a great addition to the ever growing stable of Strikeforce fighters.
