UFC On FX 6 Results: Pearson, Lombard, Mendes Get KO Wins

Main Card (FX)
Ross Pearson KO's George Sotiropoulos at 0:41 of the 3rd Round.  The "Real Deal" owned the night knocking down George repeatedly and putting him on the stanky leg.  How George survived the inital knockdown is anyone's guess but then Pearson relaxed and continued to hurt Sotir over and over again before the final coffin nails.  People are going to start questioning George's chin and rightly so not taking anything away from Pearson's game.  

Hector Lombard gets his 1st UFC win by KOing Rousimar Palhares at 3:38 of the initial round.  Now there is the power of Lombard that we have seen in the minor leagues for so long.  Palhares tried to hang but could not withstand the power striking war between the two small sized Middleweights.

Norman Parke defeated Colin Fletcher by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) to become the Smashes Lightweight winner.

Robert Whittaker defeated Brad Scott by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) to become the Smashes Welterweight winner.  Whittaker has some real power both of his hands but I was also impressed by the Brit's well roundedness and grit.

Chad Mendes KO'd Yaotzin Meza at 1:55 of Round 1.  We knew it was going to be a slaughter but geez.  "Money" laid out Meza and Yao went scarily stiff as a board.  Scary but impressive stuff.  "KO Of The Night"

Joey Beltran defeated Igor Pokrajac by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) to pull the MMAFO Upset Pick.

Mike Pierce defeated Seth Baczynski by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) in as standard fashion as predicted.

Ben Alloway KO'd Manuel Rodriguez with 3 seconds left in the 1st Round.

Mike Wilkinson defeated Brendan Loughnane by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).

Cody Donovan TKO'd Nick Penner in the 1st Round of 4:35.
