UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon "Bones" Jones was allegedly involved in a hit and run accident
The Albuquerque Police stated a middle-aged woman's car was struck Sunday in Albuquerque, N.M., and the offender in the other vehicle fled the scene. A witness to the crime places Jon Jones at the scene.
Jon Jones is officially a "suspect" and Police are seeking him for questioning. An arrest warrant has not been issued but a "summons" will be issued.
Police went to Jon's house and tried to contact his lawyer but as of yet, they have yet to hear from either. Jones' Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and official website, have all gone silent and Jon's Manager Malki Kawa stated he has not heard from his client.
Albuquerque police also added that the unnamed woman/victim was hospitalized with "non-life threatening injuries."
It would seem like a good time to call Saul Goodman, an attorney who practices in Albuquerque's, New Mexico.
