Main Card Results
Holly Holm KO's Ronda Rousey via Head Kick 0:59 into the and round as the "Preacher's Daughter" became the new Women's Bantamweight Champion!

The challenger used stellar movement to confuse Rousey who flailed about and threw an off balance punch so badly that she literally fell into the fence! Holm's left hand quickly drew blood from Ronda's lip after a few takedown attempts, the "Rowdy" one was breathing heavily and gasping for a game plan. Round one ended and a frustrated Rousey throwing a very late punch without penalty. Heavily criticized Coach Edmond Tarverdyan had zero pertinent advice for his protege and Ronda returned to action. The 2nd round began and a sharp left hand from Holly forced Rousey to turn her back. Then Holm unleashed a textbook head kick that flattened Ronda. Holly put on the coffin nails and history was made. "KO of the Night"

Holly Holm kneeled beside the fallen fighter with true grace and waited for Rousey to regain consciousness. Then the tears of joy came as the "Preacher's Daughter" was crowned the new champion!

* Just an amazing nearly flawless performance by Holly Holm while Rousey looked lost with her suspect striking on full display in devastating fashion. Now MMA fans are left to wonder how Ronda will respond from this ruthless defeat while Holm takes on the crown of "best female fighter in the world!"
Joanna Jedrzejczyk defeated Valerie Letourneau by Unanimous Decision (49-46, 49-46, 50-45) to retain her Strawweight belt.

"Joanna Champion" slowly pulled away from her game challenger in an exciting 5 round fight. Jedrzejczyk battered Valerie's leg leading to an assault of combinations that led to her retaining the gold.
Mark Hunt TKO'd Antonio Silva via Punches at 3:41 of the opening round.

A right hand to the ear wobbled "Bigfoot" and follow up punches knocked out Silva who has now been stopped by strikes 7 times in his career. It was a feel good moment for "Hunto" and it would be perfect if the "Super Samoan" retired on such a high note in front of his beloved Aussies. But he prolly won't.
Robert Whittaker Upset Uriah Hall by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28).

Every time Hall struck Whittaker returned fire with three times the ferocity. Uriah went for his spinning back kick but the "Reaper" countered with a takedown. Robert would then continue to mix up his attack while Hall's paralysis by analysis reared its ugly head yet again. Whittaker faded in the 3rd round but stayed strong and persevered. A nice upset and one predicted by MMAFO we must add. "Fight of the Night"
Jared Rosholt defeated Stefan Struve via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) in a terrible fight.

Awful. Just terrible. Rosholt did the lay and pray and Struve continues to have a terrible fight I.Q. Awful.

Jake Matthews staged a comeback to TKO Akbarh Arreola by Doctor’s Stoppage after the end of the 2nd round.

Akbarh took Jake's back and threatened with a close choke but the "Celtic Kid" fought through and rallied in the 2nd round. Using plain and simply brutality, Matthews battered Arreola on the ground creating a large hematoma over his eye. Akbarh was still able to see after the end of the 2nd round but the referee decided to stop the bout.
NOKE W/THE CROCODILE HUNTER
Kyle Noke TKO'd Peter Sobotta via Liver Kick and Strikes at 2:01 of the very 1st round.

Kyle landed liver kick Bas Rutten would be proud of, sending poor Peter flying through the air and screaming out in pain. The sadistic referee allowed things to continue and Noke finished things looking like a monster at his new Welter-weight.
Gian Villante KO'd Anthony Perosh by Punch at 2:56 of the initial round.

Gian disconnected the beloved "Hippo" from reality with a single shot. Perosh needs to retire and has nothing left to prove as Villante continues on.
Danny Martinez defeated Richie Vaculik via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

Martinez is tough as nails and has real power. Vaculik didn't have an answer for either.

Dan Kelly defeated Steve Montgomery by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).

Jesus these two guys are bad fighters. The fact that Kelly, who attempted the worst takedown in MMA history, and succeeded with it, tells you all you need to know about Steve.
Richard Walsh defeated Steve Kennedy via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28).

Just move along.
James Moontasri TKO'd Anton Zafir by Spinning Back Fist at 4:36 of round 1.

Spinning kick followed by spinning back fist and that's a wrap. Told ya the "Moonwalker" was fun to watch.
Ben Nguyen submitted Ryan Benoit via RNC at 2:35 of the very 1st round.

Ben looked like he was shot out of a cannon and Benoit never got his bearings. "Submission of the Night"
