MMAFO's much vaunted MMA Rankings are updated! A lot of changes have transpired with the MMA world always in a state of flux.

#2 Francis Ngannou has vaulted up the rankings after murdering poor #3 Alistair Overeem with an uppercut from hell!
#10 Curtis Blaydes makes his Top 10 debut after putting work into the shallow division.
Cain Velasquez and Ben Rothwell have been removed from the Top 10 for over a year of inactivity. Get to work and you get ranked.
MMA Light Heavyweight Rankings:
No change as #4 Volkan Oezdemir gets a title shot despite being targeted in a bar brawl in August though the arrest was recent. We shall see how this little story plays out but don't be surprised if the UFC has #6 Jimi Manuwa training in the wings just in case.
MMA Middleweight Rankings:
#1 Robert Whittaker is now the undisputed UFC Champion after Georges St-Pierre has relinquished the belt vowing never to fight at 185 again.
#4 Michael Bisping has dropped but not as far as many MMA pundits have decried. "The Count's" body of work is too strong to drop to say #7, but the decline is coming soon.
MMA Welterweight Rankings:
Not much movement here but #10 Kamaru Usman is the man to watch at 170's.
MMA Lightweight Rankings:
The only reason #4 Khabib Nurmagomedov is still in the rankings, is because he has finally booked a fight against #5 Edson Barboza on December 20th at UFC 219. This breaks MMAFO's rule that you must compete at least once a year to retain your ranking, but "Nurmy" will likely miss weight and we'll bounce him from the Top 10 completely. There are rules people.
MMA Featherweight Rankings:
We don't feel good placing Brian Ortega at #6 after failing a PED test for steroids back in '14, but he has kept himself clean since and won 4 straight.
MMA Bantamweight Rankings:
No changes. Don't even bring up Bryan Caraway.
MMA Flyweight Rankings:
Sergio Pettis falls to #7 after getting spanked by #3 Henry Cejudo. We tried to tell you, the kid is overrated.
Women's MMA Bantamweight Rankings:
Julianna Pena is out of action for the foreseeable future as she is pregnant with child.
#9 Marion Reneau and #10 Aspen Ladd make their 1st appearances in the Top 10.

There is controversy involved as the 3 blind judges awarded #9 Felice Herrig the recent win over #10 Cortney Casey-Sanchez in controversial fashion. MMAFO looks to not punish "Cast Iron" but award Herrig the win. The entire division should be on notice that Livia Renata Souza is coming!
Women's MMA Featherweight and Flyweight Rankings will be coming in 2018 as the divisions develop.
