Leslie Smith has started Project Spearhead to try and form a fighter's union to protect her fellow combatants, and it's up to MMA fans to spread the word and as consumers, inform the UFC that their deceptive and corrupt business practices will not be tolerated. You can do your part by voicing your opinion and showing support for MMA's warriors.

Some Facts About UFC's Business Practices:

Zuffa (Frank & Lorenzo Fertitta) sold the UFC to WME-IMG for more than $4 Billion dollars and now UFC President Dana White is planning a foray into professional boxing with a reported $50 million dollar multi-year deal offer to Heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Johnson

This dwarfs the largest disclosed payout to the UFC's top star Conor McGregor who made a reported $3 million dollars in his rematch with Nate Diaz at UFC 202.

UFC fighters make 15.6% though the UFC made $592 million for 12 months leading up to the second quarter of 2016 according to Bleacher Report.

When Jack Marshmann was pulled from UFC Fight Night 127 due to a bad weight cut, his opponent Brad Scott was only given half of his purse ($10,000), received zero payment from Reebok even though he completed all fight week requirements to promote their garbage gear, and actually ended up $2,600 in debt!

Reebok is a joke that pays fighters diddly-squat.

If a UFC fighter becomes a champion, there is a never-ending clause in all contracts that as long as they hold the belt, they are forced to remain with said evil corporation.

UFC fighters are given a "win-bonus" that can be thwarted by the notorious 3 blind judges cage side. Not to mention, somebody has to lose and it's a way to appear as though you are paying more than you really are.

The UFC is a promotion, yet habitual liar UFC President Dana White continually prompts his employees to promote themselves stating,  "Build yourself into a star, and you won't be talking about money fights." (http://mmajunkie.com/2018/01/dana-white-fighters-should-build-themselves-into-ufc-stars)

Dana White also has a tendency to talk shit on his own fighters. Just ask Tyron Woodley, Amanda NunesNate Diaz, Georges St-Pierre, Anderson Silva and many, many more. Remember when GOAT Demetrious Johnson was threatened with the deletion of the entire Flyweight division just because Dana was upset that "Mighty Mouse" wouldn't play nice with TJ Dillashaw (who isn't even in his damned division!)?

The UFC also signs more fighters than they can use, opting to keep them on the bench and unable to compete in other organizations.

How about those UFC rankings that the UFC completely ignores and are absolutely a laughingstock?

Basically, you can't throw a rock in the MMA world without hitting UFC corruption and much like Project Spearhead, MMAFO thinks it's high time something was done.
