MMAFO Picking Results & World Rankings Updates

Where are all the picking results MMAFO? Yes we're behind on things (as always) but here are our results for the last 5 events we have picked.

UFC on Fox 31 8-4
     Bellator 213 1-3
     Bellator 212 3-2
          UFC 231 8-5
          UFN 140 8-4

          MMAFO 28-18

There isn't a ton of movement in the MMA World Rankings as not too many ranked fighters have competed as of late as the UFC has been putting out garbage awful cards to complete their deal with Fox Sports and the fact they employ far too many people keeping worthy soldiers sidelined.

Heavyweight (265)

Hey Fabricio Werdum, how's that 2-year suspension treating you?

Light Heavyweight (205)

Jon Jones is still unranked as he has not (successfully) fought since 2016. We refuse to rank him until he actually gets in a fight at UFC 232. MMAFO has major doubts about if he will even make it to the fight let alone passing his drug tests.

Lightweight (155)

Al Iaquinta jumped from #9 all the way up to #5 ensuring he'll get a big fight next.

Kevin Lee drops from #5  to #7 with the narrow loss to "The Long Island Idiot."

Edson Barboza shows he's not finished yet and his dismembering of Dan Hooker keeps him at #8.

Bantamweight (135)

Dominick Cruz is injured, the shock of all shocks, which will keep him out of action for yet another year. ""The Benchwarmer" hasn't competed since his December loss to Cody Garbrandt in 2016.

Women's Flyweight (125)

The division may be dominated by Valentina Shevchenko, but the ladies are putting in work and there has been a lot of movement. Katyln Chookagian falls out of the Top 10 allowing Jessica Eye (#10) to sneak in. Ariane Lipski (#5) is looking good and the UFC's inaugural Flyweight champ Nicco Montano is in free fall dropping to #9 without being able to compete at this weight.

Women's Strawweight (115)

Cynthia Calvillo successfully returned from a bullshit suspension and moves up a spot to #9. Claudia Gadelha falls badly to #6 after a loss to now #10 Nina Ansaroff. This is one of those rare occasions where the loser is still ranked above the winner because of the body of work accrued.
