IGA-Inoki Bom-Ba-Ye 2014 Results: Cro Cop Wins By TKO, Aoki Hits A Twister, & Huggy Bear

Mirko "Cro Cop" Flipoovic TKO'd Satoshi Ishii to retain the Inoki Genome Federation Heavyweight title.

It was shades of the old Pride FC "Cro Cop," who used his legendary left high kick (the morgue) to rattle Ishii, before delivering an onslaught of left hands that dropped the Japanese fighter and had him badly bloody as the 2nd round expired. Ishii could not get to his feet or the corner and referee Ryogaku Wada called an end to the bout.

Filipovic defeated Satoshi for the 2nd time this year at an IGF-Inoki Bom-Ba-Ye event.

Shinya Aoki submitted Yuki Yamamoto by the ultra-rare Twister at 1:21 of the very 1st round.

The "Tobikan Judan" has now won 7 fights in a row. Aoki drug Yuki to the mat early wrenching the green opponent into position for the last second "Submission of the Year!" MMAFO will now have to do some editing to the 2014 MMAFO World MMA Awards.

After the bout, Aoki flipped off the crowd and his opponent who had to be restrained by his cornermen. Oh, Shinya, why won't you come to fight in America? We miss you so much.

Chris Barnett TKO'd Shinichi Suzkawa with Punches 1:57 into round 1.

"Huggy Bear" got back to action in a big way this year going 5-0 after being held out of action for '12, and '13 in a contract dispute. The gigantic American is still trying to make a slow cut down from 300+ to the Unified MMA Rules Heavyweight division of 265 lbs.
