 TUF 20 Finale Fight Card
UFC Women’s Strawweight Championship
Carla Esparza (9-2) +150 vs. Rose Namajunas (2-1) -185

"Thug" Rose set the MMA world on fire when she joined the TUF 20 cast and become the sole successful member of Gilbert Melendez's team. She shows no fear and not only takes risks, enjoys doing so and with her tall lanky frame, she can get those lovely stems wrapped around yo neck in an instant. Oh to be that neck. Anywho, wrestling is the achilles heel for Rose and the base of her opponent.

As stated, Carla, the former Invicta FC Strawweight Champion, is a wrestler at heart. She leaves herself exposed for counters and doesn't have good striking though if she gets on top, it spells trouble for her foes. A heavy top game is her key to victory.

So who becomes the 1st UFC Women's Strawweight Champion? This is a close styles clash. We like the experience that Esparza brings with her, though traveling with fiancee Pat Barry, Namajunas has been around to some great camps to receive instruction. Still, "Thug" has only 3 pro fights while the "Cookie Monster" has been fighting at the top level for some time now. MMAFO rides with Carla to a close, but definitive judges nod.
Upset Pick WINNER-Carla Esparza by Decision
Jeremy Stephens (23-10) -150 vs. Charles Oliveira (18-4,1) +120

Well let's start out with this bit of news. Oliveira missed weight. Again. This is getting quite tiresome for us MMA fans. If you are a professional, you make weight. This is the 2nd fight in a row that "Do Bronx" has missed weight, and if its that hard, go back to Lightweight. Too many fighters are missing weight or having their performances suffer due to the large weight cut strain. This needs to stop.

"Lil Heathen" deserves to win this and MMAFO is so disgusted by yet another fighter missing weight, that we won't even break this fight down.
Upset Pick WINNER-Charles Oliveira by Decision

K.J. Noons (13-7) +145 vs. Daron Cruickshank (16-5) -175

Holy shit, KJ is still employed with the UFC? Who knew but more importantly, who cares? Noons is a boxer parading around in a MMA cage.

"The Detroit Superstar" should have everything necessary to win this bout. Daron has wrestling in his back pocket which KJ has none, and Cruickshank has far more offensive tools to bring along with flashy, yet effective kicks, and more power on the feet. This should be DC all day.
WINNER-Daron Cruickshank by Decision

Joe Proctor (10-2) +195 vs. Yancy Medeiros (10-2,1) -250

Yancy brings the toughness of a Hawaiian mixed with his training partners the Brothers Diaz, which is a nasty combination. Sure his UFC record is poor (1-2-1) but he has seen a murderer's row of opponents (Yves Edwards, Jim Miller, & Rustam Khabilov).

Proctor, eh. We just don't see what this kid brings to the table. Jack of all trades, master of none.
WINNER-Yancy Medeiros by Decision

Jessica Penne (11-2) -110 vs. Randa Markos (4-1) -120

Semi-finalists meet in a clash of 2 very talented ladies who show definite promise for the new ladies division.

Penne, a longtime MMAFO prospect, is a super-slick submission specialist but will be at a size disadvantage against Markos.

The quiet Canadian is a grappler who relies upon her power and wrestling skills to overwhelm opponents rather than looking for the tapout.

Jessica will have to weather the preverbal storm at the beginning, but her technique and experience should bring her the victory in a late submission or come from behind win on points.
Upset Pick WINNER-Jessica Penne by Decision

Felice Herrig (9-5) -365 vs. Lisa Ellis (15-8) +275

Felice Herrig is just a hatable person. Just an awful human being. She excels striking in a phone booth and has some leg kicks.

We didn't really get to see Lisa via her knee injury, but if you look at her pro record, she's has faced a who's who of female fighters and likes the subs.

Though we hate to say so, Felice is the better fighter. She has more skills to offer and has faced pretty stiff competition as well. Let's hope we're wrong.
WINNER-Felice Herrig by Decision

Tecia Torres (4-0) -650 vs. Angela Magana (11-6) +425

Speaking of human garbage, Magana "The Man" is here. Selling herself as a Princess, which is just hilarious when this dude looks more like Shrek, brings, well, nothing really. She's just a piece of shit. That's all.

The "Tiny Tornado" is just that, a tornado. This girl can wrestle, and though she needs a step ladder to reach opponents, Tecia still finds a way to get her mitts on bitches. This is one of those talents who is a natural, and only needs time and practice to become elite.

Torres has little trouble with Magana and somebody tell
Angela to stop taking NSFW pics and putting them on the Internet. Seriously, leave that for attractive women sir and just disappear already.
WINNER-Tecia Torres by Rd.3 TKO

True Love is Right!
Joanne Calderwood (8-0) -650 vs. Seo Hee Ham (15-5) +425

Ham is taking this fight on short notice (pun intended, she's a little one) and is actually an Atomweight fighter. She's a kickboxer just like her opponent, the lovely, and runaway superstar of TUF 20, Joanne Calderwood.

Make no mistake about it, MMAFO is in love with "Jojo." We mean real love. Like leave your wife on a whim just to meet this girl love. Feeling creeped out yet? This is only the beginning.

"Jojo" is a kickboxer as well but she has a massive size and reach advantage. This should be her night as Calderwood rolls through Ham and deeper into our hearts.
WINNER-Joanne Calderwood by Rd.2 TKO

Bec Rawlings (5-3) -190 vs. Heather Jo Clark (6-4) +155

Its always disappointing when you get to know someone you like and realize they are an immature, basically dumb person. Sorry, Bec, you lost us during the show and flipping off Heather at the weigh-ins only makes you look worse. Rawlings is a boxer who claims to have wrestling skills.

Heather, the scapegoat and most hated fighter of the ladies in the house, turned out to be not such a bad person. The problem is, her game just isn't that good. Best of luck to Heather and sorry everyone were bitches to you.
WINNER-Bec Rawlings by Decision

Aisling Daly (14-5) -235 vs. Alex Chambers (4-1) +185

Oh Aisling, we love ya, but goddamn it if she didn't miss weight, and look near death while doing it. Not good stuff. You'd think this was Daly's fight to lose until you see the weigh-ins and wonder if she'll even be allowed to fight. Sheesh.

"Astro Girl" loves a good scramble and though she doesn't have the boxing of Daly, she can scrap.

Look, we had our beloved Aisling winning this going away until the weigh-ins. She looked so bad we have to move the other way and hope that Daly has her game together, and more importantly, her head is in the right space.
Upset Pick WINNER-Alex Chambers by Decision?

Emily Kagan (3-1) +145 vs. Angela Hill (1-0) -175

Hill seemed like a genuinely nice person and is a very raw, green talent. She has natural size for the division and is based in striking.

Isn't Kagen a guy?
WINNER-Angela Hill by Decision
