UFC 194 Results: Conor McGregor & Luke Rockhold Become NEW Champions!

Main Card Results

Conor McGregor KO’d Jose Aldo via Left Hook 0:13 into the opening round of the “Main Event.

The fight began and the men raced toward each other with Conor throwing a few leg kicks and a probing jab when Aldo unleashes a right then left hook and McGregor counters with the left hook, he predicted by the way, which obliterates Jose. An extra hammer fist and Conor is pulled away and the “King of MMA,” is now the unified UFC Featherweight Champion!

Aldo is out for some tense moments and comes to with the realization he has lost the crown. Blood streams down his nose as McGregor is celebrating inside the cage. The belt is placed around the “Notorious” one’s waist and Aldo will not accept the reconciliation attempt. "KO of the Night"

Conor spoke briefly after the fight:
"I see these shots, I see these sequences and I believe in them. I knew he would overextend and I knew I'd catch him so Mystic Mac strikes again,
I would have preferred if it stretched out just a little bit longer for all that it has been through but I still feel the same process would have happened. Timing beats speed, precision beats power.”

"Hey Ireland, we did it!"

Conor McGregor dethrones Jose Aldo in mere seconds and could not have won in more dramatic fashion. Unbelievable. Conor is officially the biggest thing in MMA and long live “Mystic Mac.”

Luke Rockhold TKO’d Chris Weidman by Strikes at 3:12 of the 4th round to become the New Middleweight Champion!

As the bout opens, both men came forward with Rockhold landing a hard leg kick but in the clinch Weidman takes the challenger’s back. Chris earns a couple more takedowns and Luke latches on to a guillotine choke but cannot finish as the opening round ends. (10-9 Weidman)

The 2nd round sees Rockhold throwing the body kicks which are landing hard. Luke then lands a hard right hand that pushes Chris back and then the men trade hard punches. Rockhold lands a final hard punch to end a competitive round. (10-9 Rockhold)

We’re all tied up going into the 3rd round and the entirety of the evening changed when Weidman threw an ill advised spinning back kick allowing Luke to use the opportunity for a takedown. Rockhold moves effortlessly into full mount and begins unleashing hell! Chris tries to cover up as Luke adds elbows and Weidman is cut badly. The punishment continues for what seems like forever and referee Herb Dean lets the mauling continue until the round ends. Weidman slowly gets up to go to his corner and staggers badly. Rockhold threw everything he had and is completely gassed. (10-8 Rockhold)

Weidman’s face is badly swollen and cut as the 4th round begins. Rockhold tries for a takedown and Chris grabs the fence egregiously but Herb Dean only issues a warning. Luke stays with it and plants Weidman on his back and unloads right hands. Chris turns away covering up but not defending himself when the bout is finally halted and Luke Rockhold becomes the new Middleweight Champion!

* After the post fight interviews, we learned Luke Rockhold had a terrible staff infection the last few weeks leading up to the fight.

* Also, Weidman's father grabbed the mic and screamed,  "He's still my son," in an embarrassing dad moment for all to see. Yeesh.

The next Featherweight fight should be Conor McGregor versus Jose Aldo in a rematch! "Scarface" deserves it for all he's done with the belt and the UFC will no doubt give the opportunity to Frankie Edgar.

Yoel Romero defeated Jacare Souza via (controversial) Split Decision (29-27, 28-29, 29-28).

"Gay Jesus" Romero is a cheater. Not only does he grab the fence in what should have resulted in a point being taken, but he pours water all over himself in the corner, again, just like against Tim Kennedy when he was exhausted. The staling tactic didn't take as long this time but Yoel is a cheater whenever he can. Even without the point deduction that should have occurred, Souza won the 2nd and 3rd rounds but the judges saw differently than the world and awarded Romero the fight to promote cheating in MMA.

* "Jacare" Souza deserves a rematch but that won't happen so Chris Weidman would make sense if the UFC wants to eliminate a contender. Yoel "God's Cheater" Romero, by default, fights Luke Rockhold next.

Demian Maia dominated Gunnar Nelson winning by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-25, 30-25).

Demian Maia is the Jui-Jitsu master. Now say it bitches. Maia dominated Nelson through 15 minutes of masterful grappling. "Gunni" was tough but bloodied and thoroughly defeated by the end. Impressive stuff for Demian!

Max Holloway defeated Jeremy Stephens by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28).

It wasn't the best fight and yet Max stole the mic from Joe Rogan and looked like fellow christian Benson Henderson in not knowing when the crowd is not into what you are doing while he spoke at length.

Fox Sports 1 Prelims Results

Urijah Faber defeated Frankie Saenz via Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27) in a tough fight.

Tecia Torres defeated Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

Warlley Alves submitted Colby Covington via Guillotine Choke at 1:26 of the opening round.

Leonardo Santos TKO’d Kevin Lee by Punches at 3:26 of the very 1st round.

Santos put Lee away and then lost his fucking mind! Leonardo leaped on top of the fence and then ran celebrating through the crowd and all the way out of the seating area into the back. Security guards brought Santos back and he cried in the cage. Jesus man, act like you've been there before. This got cringe worthy fast. A nice win though and a big Upset over the ultra-cocky Lee as the Internet celebrates.
