Fox Main Card Results:
Urijah Faber defeated Brad Pickett by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-26).
It was classic "Golden God." It was Team Alpha Male 101. It was the final appearance of "The California Kid" Urijah Faber, poetically in his hometown of Sacramento, California.
Faber quickly landed perfectly placed left hook and Pickett fell to the canvas. Urijah swarmed with strikes but the crafty veteran Englishman persevered. The crowd erupted and Faber pieced up Pickett for the rest of the fight.
Brad did have his moments landed leg kicks to Urijah's calf but Faber began switching stances and scored multiple takedowns searching for the RNC, and almost finishing with the patented Team Alpha Male guillotine. When the final, final bell rang, the attendees showed their appreciation with a standing ovation.
“Unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance to enjoy that either,” Faber said post fight. “Because for the first time in my life, after a workout I’ve thrown up. So I threw up like five times, and that was a first. That was also the first time ‘Big’ John McCarthy was a referee for me, and I’ve been a fan of his since high school, which is kind of weird. So, a couple of firsts tonight. First retirement fight, first John McCarthy fight, first throwing up a bunch.”
“The coolest thing about this experience is how it started for me,” Faber continued. “I was fighting in the Indian casino, in tennis shoes, when it was illegal in California. And I got paid 200 bucks to show up and 200 bucks to win. I didn’t tell my mom, because I knew she’d be pissed. And that’s the start of my career, and it’s grown to this.”
"The California Kid" Urijah Faber retires 34-10, a 3 time Champion, a pioneer for the lighter weight classes, and coach of an elite camp.
"The Karate Hottie" surprised PVZ right out of the gate with a picturesque head-and-arm throw. Waterson quickly took the back and locked in a body triangle. Paige struggled but her body went limp and the referee halted the fight!
Impressive win Mrs. Waterson. We underestimated the undersized upstart and Michelle is now 2-0 in the UFC.
Mickey Gall tapped Sage Northcutt by Rear-Naked Choke at 1:40 of the 2nd round.
Gall controlled the 1st round with his superior grappling but in the 2nd, Northcutt landed some strikes that opened a cut on Mickey's eyebrow and rocked him. Sage actually showed some heart daring Northcutt to stand but then allowing him up. The teens moved into clinch position before Gall landed and overhand right that dropped "Super" to the mat. Mickey employed his Gracie Jiu-Jitsu securing the choke and Sage quickly tapped again.

That's how we do "Brahma"bull! Perry came out ferocious as always, but the technically superior Jouban rocked the flash-in-th-pan and make him think twice.
