Things somewhat began in November of 2016 when McGregor and Nurmagomedov got into a shouting match backstage at UFC 205. Then, in April of 2018 a video surfaced showing Khabib and his crew confronting Artem Lobov. Conor become enraged at the treatment of his bestie and McGregor and his gang arrived at the Barclay Center, attacking the shuttle bus that was transporting the fighters. The Irish pounded on the bus and Conor attacked throwing a dolly into the window shattering it creating a giant controversy. Things were temporarily settled when Khabib finally got his shot at UFC 229 as be beat the brakes off of "Mystic Mac" to defend his belt. Things are not likely over.
